Jeffrey Todd Parrott (JTP) is a professional actor, performance coach, and teaching artist from Chicago, IL. He has performed at theaters all across the country including Asolo Rep,Orlando Shakespeare, Peninsula Players, Saint Michael's Playhouse, Theatre Raleigh, and can be seen on tv and film as well, including a recurring role on the NBC drama Chicago Med. JTP trained at some of the top performing arts programs in the country, having earned his MFA in Acting from The Theatre School at DePaul University, and his BFA in Music Theatre from Elon University. He specializes in acting methods of spontaneity (primarily Spolin Improvisation and Meisner Technique) and song performance, exploring musical theatre as heightened verse. He has had the privilege of studying and working with some of the foremost leaders in theatre-making including Nicole Ricciardi, Rob Adler, Chris Anthony, Cathy McNeela, Jim Helsinger, Craig Carnelia, Aretha Sills, Larry Silverberg, and Broadway directors Dexter Bullard and Frank Galati. He is a proud member of AEA.
